<p>PURPOSE:To suppress or deodorize an offensive smell of corruptible garbage by disposing an ultraviolet lamp in the cap of a garbage receiving vessel so as to be exposed. CONSTITUTION:On the upper cap 3 of a vessel, an ultraviolet lamp 1 generating short wavelength ultraviolet rays having ozone generating effect and sterilizing effect is disposed. Thus, the garbage corrupting and generating an offensive smell is irradiated with the ultraviolet lamp in a sealed space, so that sterilizing effect and deodorizing effect are exhibited by the sterilizing effect possessed by ultraviolet rays and the action of the generated ozone to prevent the generation of an offensive smell, and, further, the receiving vessel is sanitarily effective and easy to handle. As the air in the receiving vessel is forcedly circulated, during which ultraviolet rays are radiated, deodorizing and sterilizing effects can be obtained within a shorter time.</p> |
