PURPOSE:To realize maximum oscillation efficiency of dye laser light in a range to acquire stable output by setting a die density N to specified conditions. CONSTITUTION:An oscillation laser unit is provided, and a dye cell which is excited by excitation laser light P including G element light and Y element light output from the excitation laser unit. A dye laser device is manufactured whose dye density N>>cm<-3> is set to approximately satisfy N=(2/d)[sigmag(lambdaG-sigmay(lambday)].ln>> when a dye density of a dye supplied to the dye cell is N, an optical absorption sectional area to G element light (wavelength of lambdaG) is sigmag(lambdaG)>>cm<2>, optical absorption sectional area to Y element light (wavelength of lambdaY) is sigmay(lambday)>>cm<2>, and a size of the dye cell in incidence direction of the excitation laser light P is d>>cm. |
