The device may be used in welding rectifiers of single or multi-position types, working with a smoothing inductance coil. It can be built additionally to the existing current sources, reducing electrical consumption, requires no external adjustments and its operation is independent of the running technological process. The device contains a transformer (1), a switch (2), controllable rectifier (3), a smoothing inductance coil (4), load (5), rectifier (6), relay (9), diodes (8, 12 and 14), resistors (10 and 11), transistor (7) and capacitor (13).
