PURPOSE:To print data in high print quality without any defects such as print contamination due to foreign matter or blurring by purifying ink using a device to remove unnecessary foreign matter such as dust contained in ink inside a developer. CONSTITUTION:Ink 3 is transferred using an inking roller 6 installed inside a developer to a photosensitive drum 2 where a latent printed image 4 with high wetting properties is formed. In this way, a satisfactory ink-transferred image is selectively formed only on the latent printed image 4. After that, this ink-transferred image is again transferred to a sheet 7 which is a matter to be printed using a fixing roller 8 and thus a high-quality printed matter is obtained. After printing process, a residual ink on or dust attaching to the photosensitive drum 2 is wiped off using a cleaner 9 made mainly of cloth. Then the drum 2 is irradiated with light from a reset lamp 10. Thus the surface of the drum 2 is restored to a pre-irradiation state. |
