PROGRAMMABLE JOSEPHSON READ ONLY MEMORY AND PROGRAMMING METHOD FOR MEMORY

PURPOSE:To make the memory extremely rich in a quick response by using the programmable Josephson read only memory to immediately make correspondence to a required two-dimensional data pattern. CONSTITUTION:A first line part 41 is connected to one end sides P1 and P2 of a pair of Josephson junctions J1 and J2 by connecting both ends respectively to resistance connecting patterns 25 and 25, and the extended end of a second line part 42 is connected to a pattern 27 for completing a loop. Therefore, a short circuit line pattern 40 can be loaded on a mask forming the pattern 27 for completing the loop together with the resistance connecting pattern 25, and those patterns 25 and 27 can be formed together by the same manufacture step. Then, the second line part 42 becomes a common line part constituting a part of short circuit lines respectively concerning the respective Josephson junctions J1 and J2.
