PURPOSE:To minimize the occupying area by equipping a horizontal movement mechanism which is arranged at the upper part of the rear end portion of a transport mechanism conducting transport in a horizontal direction, and advances or retreats a suction unit along a transport direction, and a turning mechanism which turns the suction unit in motion response to the horizontal movement mechanism. CONSTITUTION:The tip portions of a suction unit 12 are pressed against the main surface of a thin plate (a print base plate) 16 mounted on a vertical type mounting rack 5, as the unit 12 extends/contracts, and thin plates 6 are sucked one by one and carried out of the rack 5. A thin plate 6 sucked by the unit 12 is carried to the upper part of the rear end portion of the next process transport mechanism by means of a horizontal movement mechanism 9. The unit 12 is turned by means of a turning mechanism 11 which operates in motion responding to the mechanism 9, and the plate 6 is horizontally held with suction by the unit 12 still going on. The plate 6 is safely brought down on the next process transport mechanism 8 by the extension of the unit 12 and the release of suction. |
