METHOD FOR PREPARING OF POLYAMIDAMINPICHLORCHIDRINE RESIN

The resin is used in the paper/pulp industry. It is characterized by increased activity and concentration and improves the strength characteristics of wet paper and cardboard products. The method involves the following: a condensation product containing 0.97 moles of diethylenetriamine and 0.2 moles of phthalic, or maleic in the case at hand, anhydride and 0.8 moles of adipinic acid are made to react with 1 mole of epichlorhydrine at temperature between 165 and 175 degrees C.
