<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a high quality standard television signal even in a moving picture by providing a moving picture processing circuit, a still picture processing circuit, a filter, a scanning line number converting circuit and so on and convert-processing with using a high definition television signal obtained from the moving picture processing circuit of a Multiple Sub-Nyquist sampling Enclosed (MUSE) decoder. CONSTITUTION:A moving picture processing circuit 23 to moving-picture-process a band-compressed high definition television signal, a still picture processing circuit 22, a mixer 26 to control the mixing ratio of a signal from the moving picture processing circuit 23 and the signal from the still picture processing circuit 22, a filter 101 to limit the vertical high frequency component of the signal from the moving picture processing circuit 23, a scanning line number converting circuit 32 to convert the signal from the filter 101 into the scanning line number of a standard television signal and so on are provided. That is, the converting of the number of scanning lines is executed with using the high definition television signal obtained from the moving picture processing circuit 23 of a MUSE decoder. Thus, the signal without picture quality deterioration in a moving picture owing to movement detecting omission can be obtained.</p> |
