<p>According to the process, a hollow mandrel (16) is coated with a hose (17) made from a strong flexible material, for example cellophane, and two rovings 18, 19 of resin-impregnated juxtaposed fibres are wound around the mandrel 16 thus coated. The rovings 18, 19 are wound over a central portion of the combination and at different laying angles. Superimposed on the winding of the rovings 18, 19, a roving 20 of resin-impregnated fibres is wound over the entire length of the tube. The composite jacket thus formed is separated from the mandrel 16 by introducing pressurised air. <IMAGE></p> |
