<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a putter head provided with weight balance easy to hit and increasing the rotating speed of a ball by hitting and stabilizing a direction by forming the head with one kind of damping alloy. CONSTITUTION:The putter head for golf is formed with one kind of damping alloy. The putter head manufactured integrally with the damping alloy can absorb vibration when the ball is hit, therefore, contact time of the ball with the putter head can be extended, and the rotating speed of a hit ball is increased, and also, directivity can be improved. The damping alloy can be separated to ferromagnetic alloy and twin alloy, etc., based on a vibration absorbing mechanism. As the ferromagnetic alloy, it is desireable to use alloy containing 2.0-2.5% Si, 1.0-1.5% Mo, 0.1-0.2% Ti in 14-16wt% Cr-Fe alloy, also, as the twin alloy, the alloy containing 2.5-4.0wt.% Fe, 1.0-2.0wt.%Ni, 1.0-4.5% Al as additional elements in 54-80wt.% Mn-Cu alloy is desirable. Furthermore, as the damping alloy, Al-Zn group alloy, Ti-Ni group alloy, and Mg-Zr group alloy other than Fe-Cr group alloy, Mn-Cu group alloy can be used.</p> |
