CONTINUOUS SHOOTING RIVETER

PURPOSE:To improve working efficiency and to prevent the scattering of a shaft by providing a mechanism for automatically supplying rivet and holding the shafts of the cut rivets. CONSTITUTION:The front end of the rivet 33 intrudes between a pair of chucks 14 which descend when an operating lever 9 is released while a pneumatohydraulic piston 13 exists in an upper limit position. The rivet falls integrally in contact with a pressing part 80 and the rivet 33 projects by forcibly opening a nozzle piece 19. This rivet 33 is thereby inserted into the hole of a sheet metal 63, etc. A rod 76 and a chuck rod 77 move upward when an operating lever 9 is gripped. A pair of the chucks 14 slide the tapered surface 78 of a chuck rod 77 downward and clamp the shaft. The rivet 33 is then caulked and the shaft is cut by moving the rivet 33 upward. Further, a chuck piston 75 and a cylindrical body 76 are moved upward to space the chucks 14. The shaft is held and left in a rivet holding tape 54. The rivet holding tape 54 moves leftward by one pitch.
