PURPOSE:To effectively utilize an existing card by using a plurality of existing different ID cards of the same standard, and using the first or final determined column number data of the data. CONSTITUTION:An ID data register 1 for cards of the same standard such as existing cash cards is provided with a CPU 1a, a RAM 1c, a reader head 1d, and a key board 1f. A card gate 2 provided close to a pass control door is provided with a CPU 2a, a RAM 2c and a reader head 2d. Of the data of an existing card read by the reader 1d, for example, the first effective column number data is registered in the resistor 1 as ID data. The card at the time of registration is read by the reader 2d, the figures of the first effective column number are extracted and checked with the ID data at the time of registration, and an electric lock 3 is released.
