PURPOSE:To obtain the title tablets high in the storage stability of viable cells and having gastric acid tolerance by providing enteric coating on tablets produced by mixing the viable cell powder of Lactobacillus and additive(s) such as starch. CONSTITUTION:The objective tablets can be obtained by providing enteric coating on tablets produced by mixing (A) the viable cell powder of Lactobacillus such as Lactobacillus fecalis or Bifidobacterium longum and (B) at least one additive selected from starches, saccharides, celluloses, inorganic silicic acid compounds, talc, polyvinyl pyrrolidone wax and magnesium stearate. The enteric substance is e.g. hydroxymethyl cellulose, hydroxypropylmethyl cellulose phthalate, cellulose acetate phthalate, methacrylic acid copolymer. |
