摘要 PURPOSE:To continuously press a fruit juice, etc., without causing deterioration and denaturation of the fruit juice, etc., and destroying vitamins by freezing fruits and vegetables at the freezing point, then coarsely crushing the frozen fruits and vegetables and carrying out solid-liquid separation using a sherbet-like coke, fibrous substance and ice crystals as a filter medium. CONSTITUTION:Pretreated fruits and vegetables are coarsely crushed and then subjected to freezing temperature treatment at -0.2 to -2.0 deg.C to convert part of moisture into ice crystals. Thereby, a coarsely crushed pulp at the freezing temperature com posed of a sherbet-like cake, fibrous substances and ice crystals is obtained. A tube axis 12 having a helical blade 11 externally mounted thereon is then rotatably installed on the inside of a rotating cylinder 10 and a feed pipe 13 is provided on the inside in one end of the aforementioned tube axis 12. Liquid collecting grooves 14 are formed parallel to the central shaft on the inner wall of the rotating cylinder 10. A solid substance outlet 16 on one side and a liquid outlet 17 on the other side are simultane ously provided to approach the outer edge of the helical blade 11 to the inner wall of the rotating cylinder 10. The aforementioned coarsely crushed pulp at the freezing temperature is then fed to the feed pipe 13 of the resultant centrifugal separator to carry out solid-liquid separation.
