<p>PURPOSE:To enable an effective tool control by connecting the space between a host computer and numerical control unit by a high speed bidirectional communication line, and transmitting tool control data at real time. CONSTITUTION:A cell controller 10 receives a production control command including tool control data from a host CPU 20, transmitting the control signals of a work command, etc., to work cells 30, 40, 50, receiving the work information including the tool control data fed from the work cells 30, 40, 50 and feeding the necessary work information to the host CPU 20. An interface 7 is bonded with the host CPU 20 by a telecommunication line 21 and also connected to the numerical control units 30a, 40a, 50a inside the work cells 30, 40, 50. The telecommunication lines 31, 41, 51 are composed as bidirectional communication lines and transfer the tool control data at real time between the cell controller 10 and work cells 30, 40, 50. An efficient tool management can thus be performed.</p> |
