PURPOSE:To prepare a fast food having hygienic safety, preservability and excellent palatability by forming cooked rice, etc., in the form of a rod, quickly freezing the rice, inserting into a casing made of an edible film and sealing the casing. CONSTITUTION:Cooked rice or seasoned and cooked rice is charged together with a subsidiary food, etc., into a mold and formed in the form of e.g. a rod 4. The rods are arranged on a plate or in a vessel covered with a water- repellent smooth material and quickly frozen. An end 6 of an edible casing 5 cut to a prescribed length is sealed by hot-pressing, a tapered cylindrical funnel is applied to the other end and the frozen rod-shaped food 4 is inserted into the casing. The casing is sealed by pressing from above and below with heaters having a heating piece 2 with a notch 1. The sealing parts are properly separated from both ends 8 of the rod food 4. The part 9 brought into contact with the heating piece 2 is bonded and a ventilation hole 10 is formed to the part corresponding to the notch 1. The product is cut in the middle 11 of the bonded part 9 to obtain the objective fast food. |
