PURPOSE:To regulate the forward end attitude of a recording sheet and prevent it from bending in using a second passage by providing a common passage for a first and the second passages between a middle stack part and an image forming part, and providing a forward end regulating means for the recording sheet. CONSTITUTION:A forward end regulating shutter 20 is composed to regulate the forward end position of a recording sheet K supplied from a second passage P2 without passing a stack part S, correct its bend when it is supplied to run. For opening/closing the forward end regulating shutter 20, a solenoid interlocked with an instruction from a sensor C to detect the forward end of the recording sheet K is operated, and it is also linked with a width regulating plate 15. The forward end regulating shutter 20 is composed to open/close to a common passage P3, and a supply timing to a photosensitive drum 3 at an image forming part 4 can be adjusted. Bend in a transfer attitude when the recording sheet K is supplied through the second passage P2 which is not equipped with a stack part S can thus be prevented. |
