PURPOSE:To uniform picture density and picture quality as well by providing an image carrier to carry an image in the series of image forming processes in an electrophotographic system, and a destaticization means to eliminate a residual charge to be generated on the surface of the image carrier in a unit freely attachable and detachable to the main body of the device. CONSTITUTION:A unit 200 is provided freely attachably and detachably tot he main body of the device, an image carrier 202 is provided to carry the image in the series of image forming processes in the electrophotographic system in this unit 200, and a destaticization means 301 is provided to eliminate the residual charge to be generated on the surface of the image carrier 202 in the image forming process. Therefore, the accuracy for the dimension of the destaticization means 301 to the image carrier 202 is improved, and the picture density can be uniformed in the image forming process. Thus, the image can be satisfactorily formed while preventing nonuniformity in the quantity of light or the picture density. |
