PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of processing of fine patterns and to allow the execution of the uniform processing by irradiating the prescribed positions of a resin film layer with a laser. CONSTITUTION:A resin coating material is applied on the spectacle frame and the prescribed positions of this resin coated layer is irradiated with the laser to thermally change and discolor the resin to produce the patterns without peeling the resin layer. After underlying plating of nickel and palladium is applied on the spectacle frame made of a metal, a polyamine resin coating material is electrodeposited thereon. The prescribed positions of the resin film layer formed by the electrodeposition is then irradiated with the laser by a laser marking device having an yttrium/aluminum/garnet laser oscilltor. The irradiation is executed by setting the processing speed of the laser marking device at 100 mm/sec and scanning the device. The resin film of the irradiated area is dehydration-carbonized and changed black by heat when the irradiation is executed. The resin film layer does not peel under the above-mentioned irradiation conditions. |
