PURPOSE:To obtain an excellent cleaning force by arranging a kerosine type cleaning device immediately after a front step hairline work machine. CONSTITUTION:A front step hairline work machine 5 and a rear step hairline work machine 6 executing a hairline work respectively are arranged at an interval on the front and back faces of a stainless steel foil strip 1 and a kerosene type cleaning device 13 is provided immediately after the front step hairline work machine 5. The kerosine cleaning machine 13 has a nozzle 14 injecting kerosene and a brush roll 15 brushing the surface of the stainless steel foil strip 1. An excellent cleaning force can thus be obtained with the synergetic effect of the solution cleaning by the high dissolving power of the kerosene itself and the injection cleaning blasting the foreign matter of dust, etc., by spraying on the surface of the stainless steel foil strip 1 from the nozzle 14 and further the brushing cleaning by the brush roll 15 provided immediately after spraying.
