PURPOSE:To facilitate structure by providing a first intake path whose one end is connected to an intake port of an engine and the other opened in an intake chamber, and a communication part between the first intake path on the lower stream side than an intake control valve and a second intake path on one side body, and by attaching a variable intake device to the engine through the one side body. CONSTITUTION:This variable intake device V is constituted of one side body 30 and the other side body 40, and in the one side body 30 formed are a one side intake path forming recess part 32 opened on a joint flat surface 31, a one side intake path 33 whose one end is connected to an intake port of an engine C and the other end opened in the recess part 32, an intake control valve 34 arranged in the one side intake path 33, and a connection intake path 35 whose one end is opened on the joint flat surface 31 and the other end connected to a one side intake path 33A on the lower stream side than the intake control valve 34. In the meantime, in the other side body 40 formed are an other side intake path forming recess part 42 opened on a joint flat surface 41, and an other side intake path 43 whose one end is opened in the other side intake path forming recess part 42 and the other end opened on the joint flat surface 41. Also, a second intake path 52 whose one end is opened in an intake chamber 50 and the other end is opened in a first intake path 51 on the lower stream side than the intake control valve 34 is provided.
