<p>PURPOSE:To prevent evaporated fuel from being discharged to the atmosphere by opening a filler lid prior to fuel supply and also opening a bypass passage with such a condition that a filler cap is closed, thereby introducing evaporated fuel within a tank main body from the bypass passage to a canister. CONSTITUTION:In fuel supply, both the filler lid 19 and filler cap 21 are opened, thus tuning off a lid switch 20 and cap switch 22, respectively. Accordingly, respective contacts of relays RY 1 and RY 2 in a control circuit 17 are made to be on a (b) side, which causes a solenoid 23 to be applied with current thereby closing a solenoid valve 18 (bypass passage 16). In this case, when the pressure in a tank main body 9 is more than the atmospheric pressure and is within the opening pressure of a check valve 18, the contacts of the relay RY 1 and RY 2 respectively switched into the (b) side and an (a) side. Consequently, the solenoid 23 is not applied with current, to thereby open the solenoid valve 18 and the bypass passage 16. Therefore, it is possible to reduce the internal pressure in the tank main body 9.</p> |
