PURPOSE:To improve the fixing performance by controlling the temperature of a heat roller and the applied pressure of a pressure roller continuously according to outside temperature and outside humidity which are detected by detecting means. CONSTITUTION:When an image is fixed, a temperature detection sensor 54 detects the outside temperature and a humidity detection sensor 55 detects the outside humidity; and their data are sent to a roller temperature control part 45 through a main body control part 47 and a fixation control part 46 and the surface temperature of a fixing roller 41 is detected by a thermistor 44 and sent to the control part 45. The control part 45 controls the heating value of a heater lamp 43 so that the surface temperature becomes low as the outside temperature becomes high or high as the outside humidity becomes high. Further, the surface temperature of the fixing roller 41 is controlled to lower temperature as the applied pressure of the pressure roller 42 rises. |
