<p>A valve, in particular for piston-type compressor, is inserted in a cylinder head (1 Fig. 1) or mounted thereon and is clamped tightly by means of at least one tension screw (6) against a seating surface (8). It comprises a valve seating 3 with throughflow channels 12, a closure piece 9 controlling these channels, a spacer 4, spring means 10 urging the closure piece 9 against the valve seating 3 and supported on an arrester 5 which at the same time forms the limit stop for the closure piece 9, and a sleeve 14, e.g. of metal or injection moulded from thermoplastics material, securing the valve parts together to simplify mounting of the valve in the cylinder head. The tension screw (6) passes through the sleeve 14 in the axial direction, and the sleeve 14 can be rolled, injected or adhered in an undercut annular groove 15. In the embodiment of fig. 4, the spacer 4 is integral with the arrester 5. Whilst Fig. 2 shows a pressure valve and Fig. 4 shows a suction valve, a further embodiment is disclosed which combines the pressure and suction functions. <IMAGE></p> |
