23724-173 A T-connection is made between two profiles, preferably a post profile and a cross-support profile in a facade. The post profile (1) and the cross-support profile (29), which are connected by the T-connection, have an inside space (2) or (32), respectively, a connector (3) being arranged within the inner space of the cross-support profile, at the face end thereof. This connector has a face plate that is proximate to the connection joint, within which a connector stud is supported so as to be able to slide and is supported by means of a stop plate (22) that is guided between cheek pieces (23) so as to be unable to rotate. The connector stud is loaded by a spring (24). The present invention achieves a shape-locking fit between the connector and the cross-support profile without the need for attachment means that have to be introduced into the cross-support profile from the outside and renders unnecessary screws that are screwed into the post profile from the outside in order to secure the connector within the inside space of the post profile. The connector stud (21) has in the area of its length that extends outwards at least one detent recess (26). Between the plate-like arms of the connector body, which is U-shaped in longitudinal section, there is a bridge piece (7) that is configured in the form of a knee lever, and this incorporates a threaded hole for a locking screw (11), the head of which rests on the face wall. When the locking screw is tightened, the arms, previously coated with adhesive, spread in the direction of the inner surface of the cross-support profile, so that a faultlessly cemented connection is achieved. The 23724-173 invention is used in the construction of facades with a supporting structure of profile rails, which is to say, in building construction. |
