There are provided attracting and ingestionstimulating agents for cockroach comprising as the active ingredient one or more compounds represented by the formula wherein R represents an amino group or an aminomethyl group. The attracting and ingestion-stimulating agents for cockroach exhibit a very potent attracting and ingestion-stimulating activity in the known species of house cockroach, both male and female.
