PURPOSE:To easily detect a third person's use and to keep a secret, by utilizing a pocket bell, in an information retrieval system utilizing an information retrieval service of a center system. CONSTITUTION:A user inputs a user's discrimination number, a pocket bell number and a pass word number from a telephone set 14, and when he puts down a receiver once, a central processing equipment 2 checks up the respective numbers. When service is available, a user's pocket bell is called. The user makes an off- hook of the telephone set 14, and when he dials an answer number, it is compared with a pocket bell call number by a comparing and checking part 11 in a pocket bell control device 8, and when they are in coincidence, a circuit between the pocket bell control device 8 and an audio response device is connected to a circuit connection part 12, and the user catches the retrieval result information which has been sent out from the central processing equipment 2. |
