PURPOSE:To move listeners in a sound field where musical instruments are played as they are in a real listening position by moving the normal position of a sound image so that the listeners can experience an apparent listening position and direction in the real listening position and direction. CONSTITUTION:The change of the position of the sound image when the listeners really move from the origin of a coordinate is indicated. When the listeners move from a position O to a position O', and the direction changes from a direction y to a direction y', the coordinate value of the normal position of each musical sound (G1-G3) changes from the coordinate value of x, y coordinate to that of x', y' coordinate. In this case, even when the musical sounds (G1-G3) are moved to musical sounds (G1'-G3) with the coordinate of the listeners fixed to the position O, the listeners can be given the same change of a way of listening the musical sounds as the listeners are given when the coordinate of the listeners is moved from the position O to the position O'. Thus, the listeners can experience the way of listening each musical sound in the various listening places as they are in the real listening position. |
