PURPOSE:To stabilize the output power from a switching high voltage power source by detecting a terminal voltage of a primary side smoothing capacitor and controlling switching frequency in conformity with the magnitude of fluctuations with a reference signal. CONSTITUTION:When a terminal voltage of a primary side smoothing capacitor 12 fluctuates, the fluctuations are detected by a voltage detection circuit 21, which inputs the detected data into an error amplifier 22. As reference voltage of a reference voltage signal generation circuit 23 enters the amplifier 22, the differential voltage is input into a switching frequency setting circuit 18. The circuit 18 changes the switching frequency by the portion of differential voltage with the reference voltage so as to unify the power and outputs the power. A drive circuit 14 switches a switching device 13 based on the switching frequency and switching on time fixed from an output setting circuit 19. Therefore, the output power does not depend on the terminal voltage of the primary side smoothing capacitor 12 and stabilizes the output of laser. |
