<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate breakage and shrinkage otherwise caused near a welded part of a bag part of a protector, by blocking heat from transmitting to parts other than the welded part by heat insulating materials, mounted on upper and lower dies so as to heat the welded part alone with a heating die. CONSTITUTION:This invention relates to a manufacture of a protector 12 to protect a tube for an inlet and outlet of blood mounted on a blood bag by sealing. Heat insulating materials 2 and 2' made of an ethylene tetrafluoride resin are attached to upper and lower dies 1 and 1'. Sheets 3 and 3' are placed on the lower die 1 grasping a tube 11. The upper die 1 is fitted and a temperature of the die is raised up to 300 deg.C to perform a pressing for about 8sec. So, a protector 12 is obtained being welded by heat in the perimeter thereof. As a result, a relatively limited softening and eliminated welding of a part other than a welded part does not allow breakage as caused by a drop in tension of the sheets 3 and 3', near an interface between non-welded parts and the welded part 13, thereby preventing breakage of the bag part 14.</p> |
