PURPOSE:To efficient obtain black toner by using a fine powder separated at the time of producing each color toner having a weight average molecular weight of <= 4X10<4>. CONSTITUTION:When the magenta, cyan, and yellow toners comprising each binder resin having a weight average molecular weight of <= 4X10<4> and each magenta, cyan, and yellow pigments are produced each fine color toner powder separated by classifying is reused as a part or the total of the material for producing the black toner, and the black toner is formed by melting, kneading, and pulverizing these fine powders, thus permitting the molecular weight of the binder resin not to drop during kneading by using this low molecular weight resin, the black toner to exhibit the same behavior as the other color toners when it is developed together with the other toners, and the black toner superior in color reproduction performance to be obtained efficiently at low cost. |
