PURPOSE:To produce easily the decorative molding excellent in the quality of appearance by a method in which after the core metal like a flat plate has been coated with an adhesive, it is covered with the design material such as synthetic resin by extrusion molding, and further after a color tape has been stuck onto the surface of said design material, it is bent into a desired shape. CONSTITUTION:The core metal 2 like a flat plate is taken out from the coil 20 of the core metal by a guide roll 72, and when the surface of raid core metal 2 is coated with an adhesive 25 by an adhesive-coating device 73, it is introduced into a high frequency heating device 511 and the adhesive is baked on the core metal 2 under heating. Next, when the core metal 2 is introduced into an extrusion molding machine 51, the whole surface thereof is covered with design material 3. Then a color tape 4 is stuck onto the front surface of the design material 3 by a press-bonding roll 52. The intermediate product 30 like a flat plate obtained by such process enters a cooling tank 53 and is water-cooled, and then, while said product is sent by a take up 54, it enters a bending machine 55 and is bent into a C-shape. Next, it is cut into a desired length by a cutter 56 and is sent to a product-receiving vessel 57. |
