PURPOSE:To improve abrasion resistance, weather resistance, and the like by fitting a thermosetting sheet in a non-cured or semi-cured state, on the surface of a linear motorcar guide rail base member, and by heat-curing said sheet. CONSTITUTION:In order to manufacture a thermosetting sheet, each material is sufficiently dissolved in organic solvent or the like to be agitated, and by the casting method of a knife coater, a common coater, a reverse coater, or the like, a process sheet is coated, is dried for removing the solvent from it and is produced. Then, near the metallic form of a guide rail base member to be formed by drawing forming or the like, the thermosetting sheet is previously set, and by a laminate means, the sheet is fitted on the guide rail member, and a guide rail is manufactured. In this case, on the drawing forming, or when the sheet is insufficiently cured in a cooling process at the time of the drawing forming, then the sheet is fitted on the guide rail base member and after that, the sheet is heated further to be cured, and the guide rail may be manufactured. |
