PURPOSE:To increase the design performance, waterproof performance and productivity and to achieve small size, by splitting a housing of a portable communication device at minimum cross section, linking and connecting it with fixed screws of a minimum number, and providing a means which exposedly mounts control and circuit components. CONSTITUTION:A split housing is linked and fixed by using an inner wall of the housing split into two at a plane of the housing to be minimum for the cross section and a means which makes convenient the assembling, adjustment and maintenance through exposed mounting of components. For example, a fixed plate 62 fixed to the 2nd housing 6 is pulled and strongly linked with fixed screws 51 located at the inside wall of the cell pack-housing section of the 1st housing part 5 and a sufficient pressure is exerted on a waterproof ring 64. The control components are mounted on the surface of the 2nd housing part 6 and most of the other circuit components is mounted on a subchassis unit 61, allowing to expose circuit components by pulling out the 2nd console part 6 only. |
