PURPOSE:To shorten a time required for transferring the contents of a memory, and to elevate an economical processing efficiency of an information processing system, by writing in the batch the contents of a buffer memory from an optional address of a peripheral memory device. CONSTITUTION:To a magnetic disk control device 4, a central processing equipment 1 inputs the memory contents A-C of an independent area in a main memory device 2, to areas A-C of continuous address memory 4B of a buffer memory of the magnetic disk control device 4, and after that, generates a peripheral memory write command to the magnetic disk control device 4. In this way, the memory contents A-C are read out from the buffer memory 4B, and they are written in order from a prescribed head address of a magnetic disk device 5 through a device interface part 4D. Since the magnetic disk device 5 is addressed only once, a time required for transferring the contents of the memory is greatly shortened. |
