PURPOSE:To reduce call charge at the use of public lines, in a remote line concentration system consisting of a remote line concentrator and a master automatic exchanger, by adding a main line interface and a main line connection controller to the remote line concentrator. CONSTITUTION:In a remote line concentration systm in which a master automatic exchanger and a remote line concentrator are connected via a transmission line 400, a remote line concentrator is added with main lne interfaces 220-22n and a main line connection controller 210. Thus, the outgoing and incoming call of main line can be made through the main line trunk of the remote line concentrator, the control of which was conventionally made as the main line incoming and outgoing call from the subscribers of the remote line concentrator through the master station line trunk only. Thus, if the area of charge where the master station and the remote line concentrator are installed is different, the call charge can be reduced. |
