PURPOSE:To automatically and efficiently collect superannuated bills with the high possibility of damage by providing a superannuated bill number registering part to register a bill number defined as the superannuated bill based on the bill number in advance. CONSTITUTION:When a bill is charged through a bill carrier mechanism 8 by the control of a bill carrier control part 7, a number is read by a bill number reading part 6. Then, the read number and a bill number registered in a superannuated bill number registering part 4 in advance are collated by a superannuated bill detecting part 9 and it is judged whether it is the normal bill or the superannuated bill. Then, the bill carrier control part 7 is actuated by a main control part 3 and moreover, the carrying of the charged bill is executed through the bill carrier mechanism 8. Then, when it is judged to be the superannuated bill at the superannuated bill detecting part 9, it is carried to a superannuated bill collecting store house and when it is not the superannuated bill, carrying processing to a normal carrying usual route is executed. |
