PURPOSE:To obtain an image having high-definition and high density by using a developer constituted of a positively charged toner consisting of 3 kinds of a quaternary ammonium salt, a fatty acid metallic salt and a nigrosine dye as a positively charge control agent and a negatively charged toner incorporating a metal-containing complex as a charge control agent in a binder resin. CONSTITUTION:The positively charged toner is constituted of the binder resin, a magnetic body and the charge control agent. The charge control agent uses 3 kinds of the quaternary ammonium salt, the fatty acid metallic salt, and the nigrosine dye and the charging quantity is kept equal or slightly higher than that using singly the fatty acid metallic salt. The resin acid metallic salt is >=2.0 wt.% of a metal contents and the m.p. is 110-145 deg.C. The binder resin of positively charged toner is 1-20 in an acid value. The negatively charged toner incorporates the negatively charged particles with 0.1-5 wt.% of the metal- containing complex for the binder resin. |
