PURPOSE:To prevent generation of defects such as crack and the like even under the application of external force during use and consequently contribute to the improvement of reliability as an electronic part. CONSTITUTION:In an insulating resin cylinder 4, welds 13... are formed at equally distributed positions during its production process. In addition, at the positions, at which the welds 13... are formed, of insulating layer 4b and of insulating cylinder 4c, ribs 14... are respectively provided axially in the form of a ridge. Each of these ribs 14... has, for example, a width of 3 - 5 mm and a thickness of 2 - 3 mm so as to reinforce the mechanical strength of the insulating resin cylinder 4 at the positions, at which the welds 13... are formed, in order to prevent crack, for example, or the like from developing. Since the rubs 14... are produced at the positions, at which the welds 13... are formed, of the insulating resin cylinder 4, even when external force is applied to the through type capacitor concerned during use, there is no fear for causing to develop defects such as crack and the like, resulting in contributing to the improvement of reliability as electronic part. |
