PURPOSE:To enlarge the holding volume of an exchanger irrespective of compaction by engaging the peripheral part of a cover body with the inside of the peripheral part of a box body and also providing an abutting part which abuts against the top end of the peripheral part of the box body in the peripheral edge part of this cover body. CONSTITUTION:The peripheral edge part 14A of a cover body 14 is engaged with the inside of a box body 13 in which ion exchange resin 12 is held. An abutting part 27 is provided to the top end part of the peripheral edge part 14A and abuts against the top end face of the peripheral edge part 13A of the box body 13. Accordingly when the cover body 14 is engaged with the box body 13, the abutting part 27 abuts against the upper end face of the peripheral edge part 13A of the box body 13 and becomes a stopper. The cover body 13 is inhibited from being more inserted and the space for holding the ion exchanger 12 is obtained in the whole box body 13. Therefore the large holding volume is secured irrespective of compaction and the effective period of ion exchange resin is prolonged. |
