<p>PURPOSE:To automatically perform the correct grinding wheel shape definition of a grinding wheel having a complicated shape, by superposing a grinding wheel basic shape on the work shape read from a 1st memory means and defining the shape that the duplicate shape at that time is excluded from the grinding wheel basic shape as a grindstone shape. CONSTITUTION:A memory means 6 which stores the work sectional shape of the final shape in grinding is provided. A grinding wheel basic shape selected by a selection part 13 from the grinding wheel basic shapes in plural kinds with the pre-stored representative grinding wheel shape being fixed as a simple two dimensional shape is then superposed on the work shape read from a 1st memory means 8 and the shape excluding the duplicate shape at that time from the basic grinding wheel shape is defined by a grinding wheel shape definition control part as the grinding wheel shape.</p> |
