<p>PURPOSE:To obtain high azimuth resolution by using a transmission reception module and a feeding circuit separately at those usable at a high frequency band and at a low frequency band in two frequency bands, respectively. CONSTITUTION:A 2-frequency resonance element antenna 2 is arranged on arrangement lattice points 3 specified at a low frequency band X in two frequency bands, an element antenna 5 usable to a high frequency band Ka is arranged to the arrangement lattice points with no 2-frequency resonance element antennas 2 arranged thereon so that the lattice points 3 and the arrangement lattice 4 specified at the higher frequency band Ka are overlapped to constitute a 2-frequency common plane array antenna 6. Moreover, modules 22, 23 for high and low frequency use corresponding to the two frequency bands X, Ka and feeding circuits 25, 24 are connected to the 2-frequency common planar array antenna 6. Thus, a beam with an antenna beam width corresponding to each frequency band in the two frequencies is shaped. Thus, the azimuth resolution is improved.</p> |
