ACTIVE MATRIX LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE

PURPOSE:To prevent a display contrast ratio from being reduced by arranging a jumping wire in a picture element part so that the area of a rubbing shadow is minimized. CONSTITUTION:A gate wire 7 and a drain wire 8 are respectively connected to the gate electrode 7' of a TFT 14 and a drain electrode 8' and the 1st picture element electrode 6 consisting of an ITO thin film 2 is connected to a source electrode 2' and continuously connected to the 2nd picture element electrode 5 so as to jump an accumulative capacitor 4. The electrode 6 is electrically connected to the electrode 5 by a jumping wire part 1 through a route independent of the ITO thin film 2. The 1st and 2nd electrodes 5, 6 are liquid crystal driving electrodes and is constituted so that voltage is impressed to a liquid crystal material held between the electrodes 5, 6 and a counter electrode. When the wire part 1 is arranged on the left end of picture elements and a rubbing direction is set up to upper left direction, the area of a diffective orientation range 10 due to the jumping wire part 1 can be minimized.
