POLISHING DEVICE FOR OUTER SURFACE OF RING

PURPOSE:To automatically polish just as a basic shape without the basic shape of the ring outer surface being broken down, by providing a pressurization imparting mechanism belonged to a moving mechanism which energizes at all times an advanced movable carriage in the retreat direction at a proper pressure further. CONSTITUTION:A rotating shaft 10 having a chuck 20 which fixes a ring from the inner surface side at the shaft end and a shaft rotation control mechanism 13 which rotates the rotating shaft 10 in a desired range are mounted on a movable carriage 30. A moving mechanism which moves the movable carriage 30 forwards and backwards in the axial direction of the rotating shaft 10 is provided and a pressurization imparting mechanism 40 belonged to the moving mechanism which always energizes the advanced movable carriage 30 in the retreat direction with a proper pressure further is provided. When this movable carriage 30 is located at advanced position, the buff part 51 of a buff mean 50 is approached to the outer diameter of the ring fixed to the chuck 20 and the outer surface of the ring is subjected to polishing by this buff part 51.
