PURPOSE:To easily and securely transmit plural signals different in bands by means of one system so as to improve profitability and maintenance by providing a transmission signal selection part for inputting the signal to a premodulation part. CONSTITUTION:The transmission signal selecting part 14 and a reception signal selecting part 34 are switched as necessary. Then, the video signal of an NTSC system and a high vision MUSE signal are selectively transmitted by using the same optical transmission line, for example. A multiplex part 11, the premodulation part 12, a separation part 33 and a premodulation/demodulation part 32 are respectively separated. Then, the transmission signal selecting part 14 and the reception signal selecting part 34 are inserted between the circuit so as to switch the signal. Thus, not only the optical transmission line 20 is shared but also respective circuit pats excluding the multiplex part 11 and the separation part 33 among respective circuit parts in an optical transmission device 10 and an optical reception device 30 can be shared. |
