<p>The invention relates to a method for the regeneration of an absorption filter which contains carbon, the absorption filter being introduced into a desorption apparatus, steam being passed through here in a ratio such that the molar ratio of steam/carbon is at least 1, the resulting mixture is passed into a catalytic reactor and there is brought into contact with a catalyst consisting of one or more transition metals and is then reacted. The invention also provides a method for the removal of (halogeno)hydrocarbons from gases, with which method a) a physical separation is used at the cleaning treatment location, with the aid of an adsorption filter, b) the adsorption filter in which the (halogeno)hydrocarbons to be removed have been absorbed is transferred to a destruction apparatus and c) in an apparatus of this type, the absorbed (halogeno)hydrocarbons are desorbed and the mixture of steam with the (halogeno)hydrocarbons collected are converted into harmless components and hydrogen halides, which are easy to separate off.</p> |
