摘要 <p>PURPOSE: To make the phase shift of chromaticity signals relative to a reference luminance signal permissible by detecting the phase shift of the chromaticity signals relative to the reference luminance signal and, at the same time, restoring the original phase synchronized relation between the chromaticity signals and the reference luminance signal. CONSTITUTION: Chromaticity signals and luminance signals impressed upon an adder 13 from an NTSC signal supplying source 10 are separated from each other by means of filters. An LPF 22 sends the chromaticity signals to a chromaticity channel containing a chromaticity processor 23 and an HPF 26 sends the luminance signals to a luminance channel or a luminance processor 27. The outputs 31 and 32 of the chromaticity and luminance channels are added to each other for generating NTSC TV signals 34 which are suitably used by means of a TV receiver. A phase error detector 35 generates a phase error signal after comparing the chromaticity signals with oscillating signals. The phase error signal is inputted to a phase compensator 40 which generates a signal used for restoring the original phaseal relation between a reference luminance signal and the chromaticity signals which is shifted in phase relatively to the reference luminance signal.</p>
