PURPOSE:To prepare a lubricant oil compsn. excellent in lubricating performances even in the presence of a refrigerant such as fluorocarbon and having good low temp. characteristics by adding a fluorine-contg. polysiloxane having a long-chain alkyl group to a lubricant oil base. CONSTITUTION:A lubricant oil compsn, is prepd, by adding 0.00001-10pts.wt. fluorine-contg. polysiloxane of the formula to 100pts.wt. lubricant oil used in refrigerators. In the formula, Rf is perfluoralkyl; R1 is a long-chain alkyl; R2 is methyl or long-chain alkyl; n>=1; and m>=0. Though the lubricant oil base may be any of mineral oils, synthetic oils and mixtures thereof, polyalkylene glycol or fluorosilicone oil is pref. because of excellent miscibility with 1,1,1,2- tetrafluorethane. |
