PURPOSE:To remove efficiently a foreign matter generated through resin containing nitrogen or sulphur without causing exhaust pollution by a method wherein hot air which is dedust-treated by an electric dust collecting machine is blown against a film. CONSTITUTION:A thermoplastic resin film is manufactured by performing orientation and/or heat treatment of a film by making use of a hot air heating type tenter. Heat treatment is performed within the tenter, into which thermal fixation and slackening heat treatment are contained other than treatments such a preheating, crystallization, annealing and cooling. In this instance, the tenter is installed by combining the same with an electric dust collecting machine, hot air dedust-treated by the electric dust collecting machine is introduced into the tenter and blown against the film. The electric dust collecting machine has a mechanism which causes an ion to collide with floating particles generated by corona discharge and charged floating particles are moved and captured at a collecting electrode by coulomb force. |
