PURPOSE:To obtain a refrigerator capable of carrying out frozen storage, and thawing and storage of frozen foodstuffs by providing a radiator which is installed in a thawing/ refrigerating chamber and connected with a three way valve on one end and further connected with the inlet of a condenser on the other end, and a humidifier which is heated by the radiator. CONSTITUTION:When frozen foodstuffs are frozen and refrigerated, a three way valve 17 switches over so that a refrigerant compressor 5 may be directly connected with a condenser 6 where the refrigerant compressed by the refrigerant compressor 5 flows as indicated by a dotted line mark. After it is liquefied by the condenser 6, the refrigerant is decompressed by a capillary tube 18 and vaporized by a first vaporizer 8 and a second vaporizer 9, thereby cooling a freezing chamber 3 to -25 to 30 deg.C and a refrigerating chamber 4 to 0 to 10 deg.C respectively. When frozen foodstuffs are frozen and thawed, the three way valve 17 switches over so that the refrigerant compressor 5 may be directly connected with a radiator 12 where high pressure refrigerant flows into the radiator 12 as indicated by a solid line mark and drain water for humidification is vaporized from a drain pot 11 of a dew receiving pan 10, thereby humidifying a thawing chamber 4. Then, it is vaporized in the first vaporizer 8 and the second vaporizer 9 by way of the capillary tube 18 and cools the freezing chamber 3 and the thawing chamber 4 and returns to the refrigerant compressor 5. |
